Kalyani‘s family hails from a very poor family in Hyderabad. Her father passed away a few years back. Her mother works as a housemaid and earns a meager income which is the only source of income for the family. She has an elder brother who is also hearing impaired. She is presently studying in Class VIII at Ashray Akruti.
